Hello
My husband is a direct descendant of Sylvester JOLLS/ spelled many ways but his sons used the JOLES spelling in most records, Sylvester the brother of GARNER in the JOLLS cemetery of Cattaraugus Co NY;
I have a very extensive file on the entire family INCLUDING the JOLLS printed genealogy;
I have followed the name, also looking for the TALLMAN connection to Erie Co PA, where Sylvester is buried;
The name Clarissa is the most common female name in both JOLES and JOLLS and Sylvester had a dau Clarissa also;
I have much to share
