Mr. Patton,
I came across an interesting letter while doing research here at the Naval Academy. A Mrs. C.H. Jolls of Wyoming, DE wrote a letter dated 20 January, 1913 to the "Admiral of the Navy" on behalf of her daughter Elizabeth regarding the interment of John Paul Jones. Through your web page I found the following info:
Charles H. Jolls (8)

Born - Aug. 3, 1871 in Middletown, Del.
Died - Feb. 16, 1929 in Philadelphia, Pa.
Married:
Mary Cooper, Dec. 18, 1895 in Delaware.
Children:
M. Evelyn, S. Elizabeth

... which appears to be a perfect match. I am interested in contacting anyone who may have known Elizabeth and especially is anyone has info about the whereabouts of a scrapbook she kept on John Paul Jones. I am attempting to rebuild some history here at the Academy and Elizabeth's collection of contemporary articles would be invaluable. I of course realize this is a huge long shot, but such is the study of history.

If you could put me in touch with a family member that could assist me in information about Elizabeth it would be sincerely appreciated. Of note, I have access to the actual letter received by the Naval Academy.
