My connection is from Julia Ann Jolls daughter of Gardner Jolls. She married James Tomley West. They moved to Ill. (along with Julia's brother Spencer)

Julia Ann and James had 11 children. Eleanor (Emmy) was the tenth of these children. She and George Hyde had two children, Heman Darius and Hattie. They settled near Rapid City, SD. Heman's Daugher Katie was my Grandmother.

I have a fair amount of information on Julia's descendants and a bit on Spencer's. But I also have some mysterys! What happened to James and Julia after 1840? Eleanor said she was raised by her sister, never knew her parents as they died when she was young. I would also love more information on J. T. West's family if anyone know anything of his background. I believe his sister Maria married Abel Jolls, and his parents were Thomas and Lydia West.
