According to Ralph Patton in a conversation in September 2002, he recalled Ada's father as being known as Sterling Clark. Jason surmises that possibly John Sterling Clark's father was also named John Clark.

Ralph recalled that the Kennedy family was from up near Williamsport.

A search of ancestry.com leads to finding a 1910 census entry with a Thomas Kennedy married to an Ada Kennedy with both parties approaching their 50th birthdays. Could this be a possible relative connection?
